Alex was raised as a child in Los Angeles' Hancock Park suburb. Her father was Dr. Charles B. Witt is an acclaimed Thoracic surgeon who is based in Los Angeles. She is the mother of Colette Witt. Her siblings are Charles as well as Walter Witt. Witt could also be connected in some way to George Washington. She is also a descendant of George Washington and a member of the National Society of Washington Family Descendants. Witt has been in a relationship with Bill Sorensen (a television producer), Caroline Sorensen is the couple's daughter. Charlie Sorensen is the couple's son.Alex Witt is the wife of Bill Sorensen, a well-known TV producer.
