Kristen Anne Bell, born 1980 in the United States of America, is an actor and a singer. Born and raised in Huntington Woods Michigan as the daughter of Lorelei Frygier - a nurse - and Tom Bell - a television director - she is an American actress and singer. She is born in Polish heritage (mother), and German, English and Scottish (father). Kristen found her talent in entertainment at an early age. Her audition was in 1992 and was offered a role on Raggedy Ann, and Andy. Bell's mom signed her up at an agency prior to when turning 13 years old. She was then featured in TV commercials as well as newspaper advertisements. Also, Bell began taking private acting classes. Bell appeared as a guest in Polish Wedding (2000) in 1998 as an uncredited actor. Bell went to Shrine Catholic High School and was part of music as well as the drama club. She won the starring role of Dorothy at her school's performance of The Wizard of Oz. Bell went to the Tisch School of the Arts where she studied Musical Theater at the Tisch School of the Arts in New York City. Bell left studying in the year 2001 and took on the part of Becky who is a character from Tom Sawyer. In the is the year she had her first credit debut as Pootie Tang. Pootie Tang (2001), but her scene was cut and she was only seen in the credit sequence. Bell appeared in Broadway on Broadway in The Crucible, a revival which featured Liam Neeson with Angela Bettis.
